New Level Nutrition

Okay, I’ll admit it, I avoid gyms and this little gem right in our tiny town was no exception. I don’t know if you know this but…psst, come closer….healthy people hang out there. And I feel judged because of my decades in the making, totally epic Dad-bod.

So, I took on this assignment begrudgingly with the acceptable amount of stomping and side-eye for my age group and headed out, notebook in hand. I drove there because it’s a block away (don’t judge me). Haley greeted me at the door fresh from a class that was just wrapping up. A women’s only class they hold every Thursday night.

I don’t know what it was, if it was Haley’s cheerful, energetic vibe or the ladies leaving, laughing and smiling as we passed but I felt welcomed instantly. I even started looking at the weights and exercise mats with the budding feeling that lifting them and testing out the old pecs might be fun. I started listening with true appreciation as Hayley told me she is one of three (3) trainers who teach classes and do personal training on-site, seven (7) days a week. Haley, Eric and Sam are passionate about their craft. And…psst, come closer…not judgy, not judgy in the least. Their passion is health, your health, and it shows. They are there to encourage you to reach your potential. The class sizes and space have an intimate, personal feel and the price is so right.

Have you hooked yet? Come closer once more and belly up to the smoothie bar. Chef’s Kiss here. Healthy and delicious drinks, with a menu of flavors and add-ons that will encourage to come back often just to sample them all. This too has the intimate, welcoming feel of an old soda fountain counter (look it up kids).

But don’t take my word for it. Walk, don’t drive (it’s good exercise) and check out New Level Nutrition.
